About WhatsApp Direct
We are a Brazilian, free and independent tool, created to solve an everyday friction: talking to someone on WhatsApp without cluttering your phone's contacts.
Why we exist
WhatsApp is great for ongoing conversations, but bad for one-time contacts. Delivery drivers, quotes, marketplace leads, interview candidates and occasional customers often become generic names in your contacts — or simply disappear after weeks. WhatsApp Direct was born to eliminate this friction: you type the number, optionally write a message, and open the official chat without saving the contact.
Who maintains the project
The website and Android app are maintained by 4BK, a Brazilian digital products company. We are not affiliated with WhatsApp LLC., Meta Inc. or any company in the Meta group — we only use the public link API (wa.me / api.whatsapp.com) provided by Meta itself.
How it works (in simple terms)
- You enter the number with country/area code in the browser or app.
- Our code formats the number and builds an official WhatsApp link.
- You are redirected to WhatsApp Web or the installed app.
- The conversation happens 100% inside WhatsApp, with the platform's native encryption.
Numbers and messages used in history are stored only in your browser's localStorage. We do not operate a central database with the content of your conversations.
Our principles
- Real utility: each screen should solve a concrete problem (quick send, wa.me link, QR Code, templates, billing, quote).
- Privacy by default: minimum data possible; no mandatory registration to use the main features.
- Free and sustainable: the service remains free and can be maintained with non-invasive ads (Google AdSense) and, occasionally, relevant partnerships.
- Responsible use: the tool is not a spam sender. Mass sends violate WhatsApp rules and may ban your number.
What we offer beyond quick send
In addition to the home page, we publish tools and guides for those who use WhatsApp at work: link and QR Code generators, text formatting, service templates, billing and scheduling confirmation messages, installment calculator and quote generator.
